Masterplans are daydreams about imaginary cities we never visit and never leave.
Each one is completely different and unique, but also exactly the same as all the others.

We move through the same large spaces every day.There are so many.
No longer individuals, we become an elegant swarm along the invisible contours of polite behavior.
Twice a year our studios have an open weekend.
For the other 51 weeks we lock ourselves away and irritate our neighbours with dust, toxic fumes, vibrations and the wonderful roar of power tools. (I might be the worst neighbour in London)
But every 6 months I clean up, discover an actual floor under the sawdust, and look presentable for a whole weekend.
